Pawsy Terms of Use

1. What Pawsy is, and what it is not

Pawsy is an AI-assisted pre-assessment tool. You upload photos or videos of your pet and answer a few questions, and Pawsy returns general, informational observations and a suggested level of urgency.

Pawsy is NOT a veterinarian, does not provide veterinary diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions or medical advice, and does not replace an examination by a licensed veterinarian. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or misleading. Never delay or skip professional care because of something Pawsy told you, or did not tell you.

If you think your pet may be in an emergency (for example difficulty breathing, collapse, seizures, heavy bleeding, suspected poisoning, bloated abdomen, inability to urinate or sustained vomiting), contact a veterinarian or an emergency animal clinic immediately. Do not wait for, or rely on, the app.

2. Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 16 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to use Pawsy.
• You can start as a guest, without any personal details. You can optionally sign in with Apple to keep your data across reinstalls and devices. When you sign in, your guest data is merged into your account.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your device and Apple account secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
• You can delete your account at any time inside the app (Profile). See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• upload content that is unlawful, infringes the rights of others, or that you do not have the right to share (including images of other people);
• upload content that is not related to your pet or pet health;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer or gain unauthorized access to the service, or circumvent usage limits or paywalls;
• use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the service, or use the output to train competing models;
• present Pawsy output to others as a veterinary diagnosis or professional opinion.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, videos and information you provide ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process and display Your Content solely to operate Pawsy for you, including sending it to our AI provider to produce your check results.

You confirm that you have the right to upload Your Content.

5. AI limitations

Results are generated automatically and depend on the quality of the media and information you provide. They may contain errors, may miss serious conditions, and may differ between checks of the same pet. Results are not a substitute for a veterinary examination, laboratory tests or imaging. You are solely responsible for decisions you make about your pet's care.

6. Free plan and Pawsy Premium

• Free plan: 1 pet profile and 1 AI health check per 7 days.
• Pawsy Premium unlocks unlimited pets and checks (subject to a reasonable fair-use limit) and premium features. Premium is offered as a monthly or a yearly auto-renewing subscription. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and vary by country and currency.
• Pawsy Premium does not include a free trial; the free plan lets you try the app before you subscribe.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account (iOS) or Google Play account (Android) at confirmation of purchase. Pawsy does not receive or store your card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price of the plan you chose.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store (Settings > your name > Subscriptions) or Google Play (Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions) account settings. Deleting the app or your Pawsy account does NOT cancel your subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we cannot issue refunds for store purchases ourselves. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
• If a subscription ends, you keep your pets and history, but free plan limits apply again.

7. Apple standard EULA (iOS)

If you use Pawsy on iOS, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Standard EULA", available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/) applies in addition to these Terms. If the two conflict on a matter covered by the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA prevails. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support and is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms to the extent set out in the Standard EULA.

8. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Pawsy available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time, and we may change plan limits for new periods, with notice in the app where reasonable.

9. Termination

You may stop using Pawsy and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, misuse the service or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers and liability limits) will survive.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Pawsy is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of AI output.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss or harm to a pet arising from the use of, or reliance on, Pawsy. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us (through the store) in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protection rights.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkiye. Courts and enforcement offices of Turkiye have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you have to apply to the consumer arbitration committees or courts at your place of residence.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Pawsy after the change means you accept the updated Terms.
